Senior Backend Engineer We are seeking a Senior Backend Engineer to lead the design, development, and optimization of backend systems that power our responsive web applications and APIs. The ideal candidate has deep expertise in Node.js, MySQL, RESTful APIs, and backend architecture, with a proven track record of building scalable, reliable, and high-performance solutions. Key Responsibilities Develop and maintain robust RESTful APIs Design and implement scalable backend services for new product features Build reusable, modular, and maintainable backend components Create efficient MySQL schemas and optimize complex queries Troubleshoot, profile, and optimize server and database performance Write clean, well-structured, and thoroughly tested code Collaborate with the product team to define requirements and deliver solutions Contribute to system architecture and technology design decisions Required Qualifications 10+ years of backend development experience 5+ years with Node.js / JavaScript Advanced MySQL expertise (schema design, query optimization) Strong experience with RESTful API design and integration Familiarity with server-side rendering frameworks and PDF generation Experience with Docker, CI / CD pipelines, and Git workflows Solid grasp of backend architecture and design patterns Preferred Qualifications Experience with data analytics and ETL Familiarity with AWS, Azure, or GCP Knowledge of authentication / authorization (JWT, OAuth, SAML) Exposure to microservices or event-driven architecture Soft Skills Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities Excellent communication skills to convey technical concepts clearly Proactive, results-driven, and able to manage deadlines effectively Collaborative mindset with a willingness to mentor junior engineers What We Offer Competitive salary and benefits Career growth and professional development opportunities Flexible work environment (remote / hybrid) Collaborative and innovative team culture PTO, benefits, and performance-based bonus program About Us Digineox is a boutique management consulting startup reshaping the consulting industry.
