We are seeking a highly experienced and technically adept (Senior / Junior) CNC Manufacturing Engineer to lead and optimize end-to-end manufacturing processes of mechanical parts. This role demands a strategic thinker with hands-on expertise in CNC machining, tooling design, production planning, and cross-functional coordination. The Manufacturing Engineer will be responsible for driving operational efficiency, reducing production costs, and enhancing the overall manufacturability of components while ensuring compliance and quality standards are consistently met.
Key responsibilities
Manufacturing Oversight
- Lead and manage day-to-day manufacturing operations, ensuring seamless execution of production plans with optimal quality and efficiency.
Parts Planning & Scheduling
Develop and manage detailed production schedules and part planning to align with overall manufacturing targets and customer commitments.Machine Loading Strategy
Allocate workload across machines based on capacity, skill availability, and delivery priorities to maximize uptime and throughput.Technical Review & CNC Program Validation
Review product designs, technical drawings, and CNC programs to ensure manufacturability, accuracy, and alignment with process capabilities.CNC Program Development & Cycle Time Optimization
Generate, validate, and refine CNC programs to minimize machining cycle times and improve productivity.Jigs & Fixtures Design & Implementation
Oversee the design and fabrication of jigs, fixtures, and tooling solutions to support precise and repeatable manufacturing.Tooling & Consumable Inventory Management
Manage tooling resources and maintain optimal inventory of consumables while controlling costs and ensuring availability.Cross-Functional Collaboration
Coordinate effectively with the design team and supply chain to ensure alignment of engineering inputs, material availability, and production readiness.Machining Cost Control
Monitor and control per-hour machining rates by identifying areas of inefficiency and implementing corrective actions.Process Documentation & Improvement
Define, document, and continuously improve process sheets for new and existing components to ensure consistency and traceability.Cost Estimation & Compliance Assurance
Conduct cost analysis and estimation for parts and processes, ensuring compliance with internal policies and external regulatory requirements.Education & Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical or Industrial Engineering with at least 3-5+ years of relevant experience,OR
DAE / B-Tech in Mechanical Engineering with at least 7-10+ years of experience in the field of CAD / CAM, CNC operations, and mechanical part manufacturing.Desired Skills & Competencies
