Senior Storage Administrator

The following are the Job Responsibilities of a Senior Storage Admin

• Managing and troubleshooting NFS exports and CIFS Shares
• Managing Cisco MDS Fibre Channel switches including SAN zoning and tools.
• Excellent teamwork, verbal and written communication is required.
• Systems and infrastructure environment support, on and off hours.
• Occasional travel to remote data center will be required.
• Experience with backing up SAP HANA, Oracle, DB2, AIX, Windows and Red Hat Linux
• Responsible for effective provisioning, installation / configuration, operation, and maintenance of systems hardware and software and related infrastructure.
• Ensures optimal performance of all system components by proactively conducting ongoing performance monitoring and by tuning / adjusting as necessary.
• Ensure service performance meets or exceeds business expectations and is delivered in accordance with SLAs.
• Enhances the functionality of systems by developing and modifying scripts to automate system processes.
• Create Knowledge Base articles of operational tasks to streamline support and empower first level support to resolve issues on a first call basis.
