We’re now looking for an ambitious and results-driven Sales Development Representative (SDR) to help us generate leads, drive sales pipeline growth, and support our high-performing sales and marketing teams.
Position Overview As an
SDR

Vertex IT Solutions , you will play a critical role in identifying and qualifying new business opportunities. You will work closely with the sales and marketing teams to engage potential clients, understand their needs, and ensure a smooth handoff to account executives for further engagement.
This position requires a proactive, goal-oriented, and communicative professional who thrives in a fast-paced, target-driven environment. You will be responsible for building strong relationships, maintaining accurate sales activity records, and contributing to the overall growth of the company.
Key Responsibilities
Identify and research potential clients in target markets through various channels, including LinkedIn, email, cold calls, and referrals.
Qualify inbound and outbound leads to ensure alignment with the company’s ideal customer profile.
Maintain a steady pipeline of prospects to support monthly and quarterly sales targets.
Conduct initial outreach to prospects via email, phone, and social media.
Engage potential clients with tailored messaging that highlights the value of Vertex IT Solutions’ products and services.
Build and maintain strong relationships with prospects, ensuring a positive first impression of the company.
Work closely with account executives and sales managers to ensure qualified leads are properly handed off for follow-up and closure.
Provide feedback to marketing teams on lead quality and messaging effectiveness.
Participate in team meetings to align strategies and share insights on market trends and client needs.
Maintain accurate records of all sales activities in the CRM system (e.g., HubSpot, Salesforce).
Track key metrics such as call activity, lead conversion rates, and pipeline progression.
Generate regular reports to help optimize lead generation and sales strategies.
Stay informed about Vertex IT Solutions’ products, industry trends, and competitors.
Continuously refine outreach strategies and messaging to maximize engagement and conversion.
Participate in training and coaching sessions to enhance sales skills and product knowledge.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
1–3 years of experience in sales, lead generation, or business development, preferably in the IT or software industry.
Strong communication, persuasion, and interpersonal skills.
Proficiency with
CRM tools
and
sales automation platforms.
Ability to manage multiple leads and tasks in a fast-paced environment.
Highly self-motivated, target-driven, and results-oriented.
Strong organizational and time-management skills, with attention to detail.
