The Role

We are seeking a creative and skilled  Freelance 3D Artist  to join our team on a project-by-project basis. As a 3D artist, you will use your artistic and technical skills to create high-quality 3D assets, including models, textures, lighting, and animations, tailored to our project needs. You'll work closely with clients, project managers, and other creatives to bring ideas to life in digital form.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Design and develop 3D assets, including characters, environments, products, and props, based on client requirements.
  • Create photorealistic textures, materials, and lighting to enhance 3D renders.
  • Optimise models for performance while maintaining visual quality.
  • Produce 3D animations and visual effects as required.
  • Collaborate with manager and team members to understand project objectives and ensure delivery meets expectations.
  • Revise and refine 3D assets based on feedback.
  • Stay updated with industry trends, tools, and techniques to enhance project quality.

Ideal Profile

Required Skills and Qualifications :

  • Proven experience as a 3D artist in a freelance or professional capacity.
  • Proficiency in 3D software such as Blender, Maya, 3ds Max, or Cinema 4D.
  • Strong knowledge of texture creation tools like Substance Painter, Photoshop, or similar.
  • Understanding of lighting, shading, and rendering techniques (e.g., V-Ray, Arnold, or Redshift).
  • Ability to create both high - and low-poly models optimised for different platforms.
  • Basic knowledge of animation and rigging techniques.
  • Excellent artistic skills with a strong eye for detail and composition.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work independently.
  • Portfolio showcasing a range of 3D projects.

    • Preferred Skills :

  • Knowledge of augmented reality (AR) or virtual reality (VR) pipelines.
  • Understanding of video editing and compositing software (e.g., After Effects, Premiere Pro).
