A Karachi – based Petroleum Refining Unit invites applications for the position of General Manager Operations. The incumbent will report to Managing Director of the organization.

Qualification & Experience

• Bachelor’s; preferably, Master’s Degree in Chemical Engineering.
• The incumbent must have 15-20 years of experience in the oil & gas industry : preferably, in petroleum refining sub-sector with atleast ten(10) years’ experience in a managerial position.

Job Responsibilities

The General Manager of Operations will oversee ail operational functions of the refinery, including troubleshooting, operational issues, managing turnarounds, budgeting, and ensuring efficient day-to-day operations. Responsibilities include supervising technical services, maintenance, safety, and process improvements. The role also involves identifying opportunities for process optimization, enhancing yields, and implementing strategies to improve overall operational efficiency.
