Senior Accountant

We are a UK based accounting firm with our back office located in Islamabad and we are currently looking to add an experienced bookkeeper / accountant to our team.

This role requires a strong understanding of tax principles, proficiency in bookkeeping, and expertise in UK VAT regulations.

Responsibilities :

• Requesting required paperwork / records from clients.
• Bookkeeping for a variety of clients using accounting software (VT, Sage, QB etc.)
• Preparation of VAT returns for Ltd companies / Sole traders.
• Reconciling various control accounts, such as bank accounts, sales ledgers, purchase ledgers, etc.
• Addressing any queries with a client that arise during the bookkeeping.
• Organising workload to ensure strict deadlines are met.
• Communicating with HMRC VAT office when required.
• Assisting senior accountants

Requirements :

We will only be providing basic training for this role so you are expected to have the experience / knowledge and make this role your own.
