About the Role

We are looking for a highly skilled Node.js Developer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing scalable backend solutions, designing and implementing APIs, and collaborating with cross‑functional teams to deliver high‑quality applications.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop, maintain, and optimize server‑side applications using Node.js.
  • Design and implement RESTful APIs and integrate with third‑party services.
  • Write clean, scalable, and efficient code following best practices.
  • Collaborate with frontend developers, product managers, and QA teams.
  • Ensure application security, performance, and responsiveness.
  • Troubleshoot, debug, and upgrade existing systems.
  • Participate in code reviews and contribute to team knowledge sharing.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field.
  • Proven experience as a Node.js Developer.
  • Experience with Express.js or other Node.js frameworks.
  • Familiarity with databases (PostgreSQL).
  • Understanding of asynchronous programming and event‑driven architecture.
  • Knowledge of version control systems (Git).
  • Experience with RESTful APIs and microservices architecture.
  • Basic understanding of containerization (Docker / Kubernetes) is a plus.
  • Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) is an advantage.

    • Preferred Skills

  • Experience with unit testing and test‑driven development (TDD).
  • Knowledge of message brokers (e.g., RabbitMQ, Kafka).
  • Familiarity with CI / CD pipelines.
