Remote Software Engineering Manager

Job descriptionMinimum of 6 years in the industry, including at least 4 years as a developer and 2 years as an Engineering Manager responsible for system design and implementation. Experience managing at least four individuals, providing guidance, coaching, and mentorship. Experience working in fast-paced Agile / Scrum environments. Experience with performance management and salary reviews. Self-driven, energetic, and passionate about nurturing high-performing teams.
DigitalTolk is an organization dedicated to making a positive impact by giving a voice to those who don't speak the local language. We coordinate interpreters so that patients can receive medical treatment and communicate with healthcare providers in their new country, and assist crime victims in obtaining justice. Our platform connects our customers with qualified interpreters.
Our primary clients include hospitals, courts, lawyers, and municipalities that communicate with refugees and others in need.
The company's mission is to leverage technology to create a better world. Based in Sweden, we have developers located worldwide.
Role :
- Establish and enhance workflows within your team.
- Build, lead, and develop our engineering team.
- Ensure a smooth onboarding process for new team members, including training.
- Collaborate with the Product Owner or Accountable Lead to ensure high-quality, efficient delivery.
- Identify and resolve issues proactively.
- Create a fun and engaging workplace for our international engineering team.
