• The opportunity
• We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Field Service Engineer to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for testing & commissioning of Grid Station Control & Automation (RTU / SAS) equipment. Having experience with Protection & Telecom (SDH / PLC) System will be an advantage.

Candidate shall be adaptable to learn & enhance expertise and knowledge related to Grid Station equipment as per job requirement.

• How you’ll make an impact
• You will be focused on providing technical services to customers including commissioning, supervising installation, and testing of products / equipment including Identifying and correcting more complex problems associated with start-up. Researching, evaluating, and recommending new products or equipment upgrades that will meet customer needs.
• Developing on-going relationships with customers to secure future business. May resolve / troubleshoot implementation problems and / or train customers on the features of the equipment they have purchased
• A Senior Professional (P3) applies advanced knowledge of job area typically obtained through advanced education and work experience.
• Executing, testing & commissioning of Grid Station Control & Automation IEDs / Equipment according to manufacturer manuals.
• Hands on experience on Relion series, Siprotec, MiCOM etc. Control Protection IEDs, PCM600, Digsi5 etc. and other software required for commissioning of IEDs.
• Responsibilities may include Managing projects / processes, working independently with limited supervision. Coaching and reviewing the work of lower-level professionals. The problems faced are difficult and sometimes complex.
• You will be responsible for ensuring compliance with applicable external and internal regulations, procedures, and guidelines.

• Your background
• A bachelor's degree in electrical engineering from a reputable institute.
• Minimum 5-10 years of experience in the relevant field.
