Overview
As a Salesforce QA Tester, you will be responsible for evaluating and testing Salesforce and enterprise applications & configurations to ensure they meet the required standards of quality and functionality. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, including developers, administrators, and product managers, to identify and resolve defects and improve the overall user experience. What You’ll Do
Collaboration : Work closely with developers, business analysts, and product owners to understand requirements and provide feedback during the development process Test Ownership
(Planning, Documentation, Execution etc) : Collaborate with product owners to define test objectives, strategies, and test plans for Salesforce projects. Create & execute detailed test cases and test scripts (including applicable regressions) based on business requirements to verify the functionality, performance, security, and usability of Salesforce / enterprise applications. Maintain comprehensive test documentation. Defect Identification : Identify, document, and report defects and issues in a clear and concise manner, including steps to reproduce and severity assessment Test Data Management : Manage and maintain test data, ensuring data integrity and relevance for testing purposes Quality Assurance : Contribute to the overall quality assurance process, including test process improvements, test automation initiatives, and the adoption of best practices. Availability : Be available for standups & misc business calls during scheduled timing (typically early PST hours) What We’re Looking For
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field is preferred. Strong understanding of Salesforce CRM platform and configurations (Sales & Service Cloud)
with solid SFDC admin skills 2-4 years of experience (preferred) in manual software testing (preferably with a focus on Salesforce CRM) Passion for QA & Strong understanding of the Quality Assurance concepts & processes Attention to detail and solid documentation & communications skills (clear, concise & comprehensive test planning, case creation, defect reporting and collaboration with cross-functional teams) Knowledge of software development lifecycle (SDLC), agile methodologies & relevant tools (eg Jira, TestRail etc.) A team player who can step in, take ownership & adapt to a dynamic and fast-paced work environment Salesforce certifications (e.g., Salesforce Administrator, Salesforce Platform App Builder) are a plus.
