Job description

DoLocal Ltd., a multi-award winning full service digital marketing agency based in Liverpool, UK, is seeking a talented Mid-Level PHP Developer to join their team in Pakistan.

You'll play a key role in developing and maintaining our web applications, with a focus on customization and integration of custom codes.

Responsibilities

Design, develop, and implement high-quality, reusable, and maintainable PHP code.
Customize existing WordPress themes and plugins to fit our specific needs.
Develop custom plugins to extend the website's existing functionality.
Write clean, efficient, and well-documented queries to manage and manipulate MySQL databases.

Hours of Work

Should be able to work between 1 pm - 9 pm PST (Pakistan time) i.e. 9 am to 5 pm UK time Monday to Friday and every alternate Saturday.

Experience

1-2 years of experience.

Job Specification

Experience / Qualifications

Strong understanding of object-oriented programming (OOP) concepts.

Experience with popular PHP frameworks (e.g. Laravel, CodeIgniter) is an advantage.

Basic understanding of SEO is a plus.

Should be familiar with working with Elementor / WPBakery Page builders.

Proven experience customizing WordPress themes and plugins.

Solid knowledge of MySQL databases and writing efficient SQL queries.

Knowledge and / or experience of working on other website development platforms such as Wix, Duda, WebFlow etc.
