Customs and Trade Facilitation Specialist

This position involves customs operational processes such as entry operations, tariff classification, customs valuation, and origin of goods. The work involves a considerable amount of creativity, perception and a wide latitude for independent actions including significant independent judgment. The position also includes responsibility for the development and management of people, processes, systems and external service providers supporting those functions. In this role the candidate will be engaged in business planning activities, controversy resolution and advocacy functions with government and industry forums. The successful candidate will also work with internal business, finance, legal and tax teams, as well as outside counsel, on matters that have an impact on the Company's customs activities.
