Job Description : We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented QA Automation Engineer with 2 to 3 years of hands-on experience in mobile application testing and automation frameworks , specifically using Appium .

The ideal candidate should have a comprehensive understanding of both manual and automated testing practices, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to ensure the delivery of high-quality mobile applications across platforms (iOS and Android).

Key Responsibilities : Design, develop, and maintain robust automation test scripts for mobile applications using Appium (JavaScript).

Design, develop, and maintain robust automation test scripts for web applications using Cypress / Playwright (JavaScript) Develop and execute automated test suites as part of continuous integration and delivery (CI / CD) pipelines.

Collaborate closely with developers and product managers to understand product requirements and translate them into effective test plans.

Perform thorough regression testing when bugs are resolved and during app updates / releases.

Stay updated with industry best practices and emerging tools in testing, test automation and mobile apps testing.

Communicate updates both verbally and in writing with internal and external stakeholders timely and with clarity Document test strategies, test plans, test cases, and results for both manual and automated tests.

Required Qualifications : Bachelor’s degree in engineering field.

2-3 years of experience Strong understanding of software testing concepts , test design techniques, and software QA methodologies.

Experience working with iOS and Android platforms and using emulators, simulators, and real devices.

Proficiency in one or more programming / scripting languages (e.g., JavaScript, Python, Java).

Familiarity with tools like TestNG, JUnit, Maven / Gradle, Git, Jenkins, or similar .

Experience with REST API testing , using tools like Postman or RestAssured is a plus.

Familiarity with Agile / Scrum development processes and ceremonies.

Soft Skills : Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Strong analytical and critical thinking skills.

Self-motivated with the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
