SQA Engineer

Job Description

Participate in test planning, execution, and reporting for web, mobile, and software applications.

Develop and execute manual test cases based on user stories and functional specifications.

Assist in creating and maintaining automated test scripts for regression and functional testing.

Identify, document, and track defects, working with development teams to resolve issues.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure timely delivery of high-quality features.

Perform functional, UI, and usability testing to ensure the product meets business requirements.

Contribute to the development of QA processes and best practices.

Continuously learn and grow in testing methodologies and tools.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent experience.

1-3 years of experience in software quality assurance.

Familiarity with QA methodologies, tools, and processes.

Basic understanding of automated testing tools and scripting languages.

Experience with defect tracking tools such as Jira or Bugzilla.

Strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality.

Experience in agile development environments is a plus.

Good problem-solving and communication skills.

Desire to learn and grow in software quality assurance.
