The purpose of this job to perform Project Controls function, i.e. the professional shall effectively and efficiently carry out time and cost management of multiple Construction projects. Responsible for project management processes such as Schedule preparation, monitor Cost, maintaining budgets, forecasting project completion and cost, collation of site progress and updating project schedules and cost trackers. Also preparing variation orders in the light of cost incurred, expected by liaising with project team. In addition, works on process improvement and maintenance of the Department’s document management system (DMS / M-files).

Responsibilities :
Specifically, you will be responsible to :
- Develops Integrated Master Schedule (IMS) encapsulating all phases of projects (Design, Tendering, Procurement Execution & Testing and Commissioning) by using appropriate project management tool Primavera or MS Project.
- Prepare and update project and program dashboards using Power BI, MS Project, or Primavera, cost tracker and generate reports and dashboards to provide project stakeholders with insights on project performance.
- Prepare, maintain, and track project budgets. Monitor project expenditures and compare them to approved budgets. Identify cost overruns, variances, and trends, and provide recommendations for corrective actions. Collaborate with Finance, Purchase and Accounting teams to ensure accurate cost tracking and reporting and provide updates to Project Manager / Functional Manager on regular basis.
- Develop and implement Project control procedures, templates, standards, and methodologies and bring improvement in construction processes of Project and Construction Management Division.
- Carries out Tracking and Monitoring of Project / Master / Construction Schedule periodically by site visits or getting input from various project team; compares project’s progress with Baseline schedule and advising management of any corrective or preventive measure to avoid or mitigate delay.
- Responsible to control and monitor project total expenditure including preparing purchase requests, verifying of invoices and claims from suppliers, vendors, and subcontractors to ensure that all project expenditures are captured and properly recorded in Project Cost Trackers reflecting Forecast to Finish and advising management of any forecast cost overruns as soon as possible.
- Prepares presentations or monthly / weekly reports to management in the light of project performance measurements captured through Tracking Schedule, Project Control Cost Trackers or any other.
- Carries out or facilitates Project Manager to conduct risk workshops for identifying project risks, perform qualitative risk assessment and mapping out risk response planning by mapping out suitable measures for treatment of identified risks.
Requirements :
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (BE)At least 2 – 5 years working experience.Strong knowledge of Project Management tools and techniquesProfound knowledge and experience of Planning, scheduling, risk management and cost controlling experienceProficiently carried out efficient processes’ improvements; identify problems and revamp existing and develop new processes.Good knowledge of reading and understanding engineering drawings, specification, design scope, job working instruction / procedures, good project control practices in planning and scheduling and overall awareness of projects.Proficient in the use of MS Project and Primavera Scheduling software’s, Power BIStrong communication and interpersonal skillsBe vigilant in cost tracking and time management.Ability to work on multiple Construction and renovation projects.Comprehensive employment reference checks will be conducted
