Job description

We are on the lookout for an exceptional Senior Frontend Developer with deep expertise in Angular (2+), JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and jQuery to join our dynamic team. This role goes beyond just coding; it’s about shaping and defining the user experience for our suite of products. You’ll have the chance to work on cutting-edge serverless functions to ensure secure and seamless interfaces on the AWS Cloud.

Job Responsibilities

  • Web Application Development : Design, develop, and maintain high-quality web applications using the Angular framework, ensuring a polished and responsive user experience.
  • Cross-functional Collaboration : Work closely with cross-functional teams to analyze requirements, design solutions, and deliver new features that delight users.
  • UI / UX Implementation : Ensure the technical feasibility of UI / UX designs, providing innovative solutions that bring these designs to life.
  • Performance Optimization : Optimize applications for maximum speed, scalability, and efficiency.
  • Code Reviews & Mentorship : Participate in code reviews, offering constructive feedback, and mentor junior developers to elevate the overall team’s skill set.
  • Backend Integration : Collaborate with backend developers to seamlessly integrate user-facing elements with server-side logic.
  • Technology & Best Practices : Stay abreast of emerging technologies and best practices in frontend development, and proactively apply them to projects.
  • Troubleshooting & Debugging : Identify and resolve application issues to enhance performance, usability, and overall quality.
  • Project Ownership : Take full ownership of projects, demonstrating initiative and a proactive approach to problem-solving.

Requirements

  • Education & Experience : Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field, with 6+ years of experience in Angular development.
  • Angular Expertise : 6+ years of hands-on experience with Angular development, with a strong command of TypeScript, HTML, and CSS.
  • Responsive Design : Proven experience in building responsive, user-friendly web applications that work across various devices and screen sizes.
  • State Management : Solid understanding of state management using RxJS or NgRx, ensuring smooth and efficient application performance.
  • API Integration : Proficiency in working with RESTful APIs and handling asynchronous requests.
  • Testing & Quality Assurance : Experience with Angular testing frameworks such as Jasmine, Karma, or Protractor to ensure robust and reliable code.
  • Version Control : Strong understanding of version control systems, particularly Git, for efficient and organized code management.
  • Problem-solving & Creativity : Excellent problem-solving skills, coupled with a creative approach to overcoming technical challenges.
  • Communication & Teamwork : Strong communication skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate within a team environment.

    • Preferred Skills :

  • Agile Methodologies : Familiarity with Agile development practices and methodologies.
  • Web Security : Understanding of security principles and best practices in web development.
  • Advanced Angular Techniques : Expertise in advanced Angular and TypeScript features.
  • Unit Testing : Proficiency in unit testing Angular applications to maintain code quality and reliability.

    • Minimum Technical and Work Environment Requirements :

  • Internet Connection :
  • Primary internet connection with a minimum speed of 15 Mbps .
  • Backup internet connection with at least 10 Mbps .
  • Backup connection must be capable of supporting work during a power outage.
  • Primary Device :
  • Desktop or laptop equipped with at least :
  • Intel Core i5 (8th generation or newer) , Intel Core i3 (10th generation or newer) , AMD Ryzen 5 , or an equivalent processor.
  • A minimum of 8 GB RAM .
  • Backup Device :
  • Must meet or exceed the performance of an Intel Core i3 processor.
  • Must be functional during power interruptions.
  • Peripherals and Workspace :
  • A functioning webcam .
  • A noise-canceling USB headset .
  • A quiet, dedicated home office space .
  • A smartphone for communication and verification purposes.
