About The Position
INTECH Process Automation is seeking a Structural Engineer with a versatile background and a strong passion for designing and delivering intricate Mechanical Packages.
- Provide technical expertise and guidance on safe design and construction practices.
- Ensure compliance with applicable engineering standards, regulatory requirements, and customer specifications.
- Contribute to the standardization of equipment specifications, drawings, processes, and document templates.
- Familiarize oneself with technical knowledge, legal requirements, and customer specifications, and incorporate them into project execution.
- Collaborate with consultants to ensure timely receipt of design drawings.
- Apply local and global standards to uphold technical excellence.
- Support checking processes, reviews, and the incorporation of feedbacks and observations into design.
- Provide technical supervision to designated Structural designers and draftsmen during project execution.
- Prepare and review specifications, data sheets, and other project-related documents.
- Review design drawings to verify structural integrity and construction materials.
- Oversee the production of detailed designs, drawings, specifications, data, calculations, and reports, adhering to required checking procedures.
- Evaluate bids and review vendor documents for approval.
- Create comprehensive structural overviews and develop reports with technical details for engineers, as well as high-level analysis, such as cost estimates, for senior management.
- Advise senior management on the practicality and optimal design of Skid Packages.
- Review mechanical structural drawings and documents, including foundation layouts, civil & structural drawings, etc.
- Seek input from knowledgeable sources, actively participate in constructability, operability, and maintainability reviews, and ensure the incorporation of requirements into engineering and design.
- Collaborate with site personnel to address and resolve issues.
- Develop plans and documents that support construction, testing, commissioning, operations, and maintenance.
- Review and approve as-built documents for project modifications.
- Conduct on-site verification and data collection of existing and new facilities as part of study preparation.
Requirements
Minimum 5 years of relevant experience as a Structural Engineer.Degree qualified (Civil or Structural Engineering) and qualified with PECMiddle East / Gulf experience preferred.Proficiency in software such as STAADPro and CAD WORX.Proficient in AutoCADKnowledge of international standards and codes in structural engineering such as ASCE, BS, ISO, ASME.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.Have experienced in Mechanical Structural Designing, i.e., Skid Packages,Ability to interpret and analyze complex structural drawings and specifications.Excellent verbal and written communication skills.Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy and precision.Strong time management and organizational skills.Ability to handle multiple projects and meet deadlines.
