Job Purpose

The Head of ERP & PMO provides strategic leadership for the SAP ERP ecosystem, centered on SAP S / 4HANA under RISE with SAP, and full governance over the Digital, Data & Technology project portfolio . This role ensures SAP systems and integrations are scalable, efficient, and business-aligned, while establishing a high-performing PMO to manage, monitor, and report on all DDT-related projects , from ERP to analytics, integration platforms, and digital transformation initiatives. Operating within a Center of Excellence (CoE) and Shared Services Center (SSC) framework, the role drives enterprise-wide standardization, adoption, and innovation, aligning technology investments with strategic business outcomes.

Job Responsibilities

Strategic ERP Leadership

  • Own the SAP S / 4HANA technical and functional roadmap, including enhancements, integrations, and lifecycle management under RISE with SAP.
  • Align ERP capabilities with enterprise transformation goals and DDT strategy.
  • Oversee governance, security, performance, and compliance for SAP and related platforms.

PMO Governance – DDT Scope

  • Establish and lead a centralized PMO to govern all DDT-related projects (ERP, data platforms, analytics, integration, AI, automation).
  • Define portfolio governance standards, project methodologies (Agile, Waterfall, Hybrid), and reporting protocols.
  • Maintain a unified project dashboard for leadership, covering timelines, KPIs, risks, budgets, and benefits realization.
  • Ensure consistent progress monitoring, escalation, and corrective action for delayed or at-risk projects.
  • CoE / SSC Enablement

  • Collaborate with SAP CoE to standardize ERP processes, ensure reusability of solutions, and manage configuration vs. customization decisions.
  • Work with SSC operations to streamline support, incident management, and change control.
  • Promote shared best practices across business units, reducing duplication of effort.
  • Oversee integration between SAP and non-SAP systems (e-commerce, CRM, manufacturing, supply chain, IoT) using SAP BTP, CPI, and API-led architecture.
  • Evaluate and govern the adoption of emerging technologies (AI / ML, RPA, advanced analytics) within the DDT ecosystem.
  • RISE with SAP & Licensing Management

  • Serve as the primary liaison for RISE with SAP, ensuring service-level adherence, system performance, and delivery milestones.
  • Govern SAP licensing and subscription usage across modules and solutions, ensuring compliance and cost optimization.
  • Negotiate with SAP and vendors to optimize contracts and renewals.
  • Manage ERP and project budgets, track spend, and identify cost-saving opportunities.
  • Evaluate vendor proposals for feasibility, TCO, and alignment with technical standards.
  • Negotiate SLAs, service contracts, and vendor accountability metrics.
  • Change Management & Adoption

  • Champion ERP and digital adoption through structured change management, communication, and training.
  • Engage stakeholders early to ensure alignment and user readiness for new systems or processes.
  • Lead, mentor, and develop ERP and PMO teams to deliver high performance.
  • Define roles, KPIs, and career development plans for team members.
  • Foster a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement.
  • Minimum Qualifications And Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field; Master’s preferred.
  • 15+ years of ERP and project management experience, including minimum 5 years in a senior leadership role.
  • Proven track record in SAP S / 4HANA, SAP BTP, RISE with SAP, and enterprise integration.
  • Project Management Professional (PMP®), Agile / Scrum certification, and ITIL v4 preferred.
  • Experience in FMCG or manufacturing industries highly desirable.
  • Professional Knowledge And Certifications

  • SAP Certified Application Associate (e.g., FI, MM, SD, PP, HCM)
  • SAP S / 4HANA Certification (Functional or Technical Tracks)
  • SAP Project System (PS) certification (if applicable)
  • ITIL v4 Foundation / Intermediate
  • COBIT (Control Objectives for Information and Related Technologies)
