The Outreach and Research Programme of the Department of Paediatrics and Child Health operates ten community-based field sites across Pakistan, including four in Karachi, focusing on improving women’s and children’s health. The Department also houses Nutritional and Infectious Disease Research Laboratories to support its research projects. It has earned national and international recognition for its impactful work. Use of Office Software (MS Office) for preparing memos, letters, certificates, and other typing assignments. Maintain proper record of medicine, inventory of field sites, log books on a daily basis, and verify bills with records on a monthly basis. Liaison with stakeholders at the community for the smooth functioning at the workplace. Assist in keeping record of all equipment and ensure their timely maintenance / calibration. Arrange training programs, workshops, and conferences in the field sites. Handle logistical and administrative tasks for the project, recorded in the register at the time of issuance, and maintain proper tracking of that equipment. Maintain proper record of medicines, stationery, incentives, and Generator on a regular basis. Coordinate with the maintenance department for repairs and maintenance of WCH. Any other task assigned by the supervisor. Requirements
1 to 2 years of related experience. Knowledge of administrative procedures in an organization. Good interpersonal and communication skills (includes ability to converse in local languages). Ability to handle logistical and administrative tasks (coordination with finance, administration, Electronic, NFSD, and purchase). Ability to document project activities.
