Job Objective The iOS Developer will be responsible for developing, optimizing, and maintaining the MOHR helpline’s mobile application to enhance accessibility and user experience. The developer will ensure secure, efficient, and survivor-friendly digital support services, focusing on usability, performance, and data security.

Main Responsibilities Application Development & Optimization

Develop and enhance the MOHR helpline mobile application for iOS.

Ensure high-quality, scalable, and efficient coding practices.

Optimize app performance and ensure smooth user experience.

Security & Data Protection

Implement secure coding practices to safeguard user data.

Ensure compliance with data protection regulations and cybersecurity standards.

User Experience & Accessibility

Design a user-friendly interface with accessibility features for diverse users.

Work closely with stakeholders to incorporate feedback for continuous improvements.

Testing & Quality Assurance

Conduct rigorous testing to identify and fix bugs.

Ensure seamless integration of backend services and APIs.

Coordinate with the National GBV Expert and other relevant teams.

Document technical specifications, updates, and progress reports.

Core Competencies & Skills

Proficiency in Swift and Objective-C for iOS app development.

Strong understanding of iOS frameworks, UI / UX design principles, and Apple’s Human Interface Guidelines.

Experience in API integration, mobile security protocols, and data encryption.

Knowledge of App Store submission processes and compliance requirements.

Ability to troubleshoot, debug, and optimize app performance.

Strong problem-solving, analytical, and teamwork skills.

Job Requirements

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.

At least 3-5 years of experience in iOS application development. Prior experience with helpline or support service applications is preferred.

Expertise in Swift, Objective-C, RESTful APIs, and mobile security.

Ability to manage development cycles and coordinate with cross-functional teams.
