Role Overview

The Engineering Manager is responsible for leading and managing the engineering teams, overseeing the development and delivery of cutting-edge educational products. This role involves strategic planning, team leadership, and ensuring that all projects align with KnowledgeCity’s business objectives. The Engineering Manager will work closely with cross-functional teams to drive innovation, optimize processes, and ensure the scalability and reliability of our technology solutions.

Key Responsibilities

Team Leadership : Lead, mentor, and develop the engineering team, fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
Project Management : Oversee the planning, execution, and delivery of engineering projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within scope, and within budget.
Technical Strategy : Develop and implement technical strategies that align with KnowledgeCity’s business goals and drive product innovation.
Process Optimization : Identify opportunities to optimize engineering processes, improve efficiency, and enhance product quality.
Collaboration : Work closely with Technology, Product, R&D and other departments to ensure that engineering efforts align with product requirements and company objectives.
Risk Management : Identify and mitigate risks associated with engineering projects and technology decisions.
Quality Assurance : Ensure that all engineering outputs meet high-quality standards and contribute to the overall success of KnowledgeCity’s products.
Stakeholder Communication : Regularly update stakeholders on project progress, technical challenges, and solutions.

Skills And Qualifications

Proven experience managing engineering teams and delivering successful engineering projects.

Strong technical background in engineering, with experience in software development, hardware design, or other engineering disciplines.

Excellent leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire team members.

Proven track record of successfully managing and delivering complex technical projects.

Strong leadership and team management abilities.

Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills.

Ability to communicate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Strong project management skills, with experience in Agile methodologies and project management tools.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and solve complex engineering problems.

Advanced English proficiency, both written and spoken, is mandatory for effective communication with partners and clients.
