Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Web Development, or a related field (or equivalent experience) Job Title : WordPress Developer Location : Remote Job Type : Full-Time (160 hours per month) Salary : 60,000 - 1,20,000 PKR Reports To : Director Digital Marketing and / or Chief Operations Officer Responsibilities : Website Development : Build custom WordPress websites from scratch, ensuring they are responsive, user-friendly, and visually appealing. Implement and customize WordPress themes and plugins to meet project requirements. UI / UX Optimization : Apply design principles and best practices to optimize the user interface and user experience to maximize conversions. Conduct usability testing and make improvements based on feedback and analytics data. Digital Marketing Integration : Set up and manage conversion event tracking, detailed Google Analytics configurations, Google Tags, Meta Conversions API, and SEO optimizations. Implement and configure Google Site Kit and other digital marketing tools to track and improve website performance. Technical Skills : Develop and maintain custom WordPress plugins to extend website functionality. Ensure websites are optimized for speed, performance, and security. Project Management : Manage projects independently, from initial concept through to completion, ensuring deadlines are met. Communicate effectively with clients and team members to gather requirements, provide updates, and address feedback. Version Control : Use version control systems (e.g., Git) to manage code for WordPress and Shopify projects. Collaborate with team members using version control to ensure seamless project development and deployment. Site Infrastructure : Job Specification

Qualifications : Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Web Development, or a related field (or equivalent experience). At least 3 years of experience building WordPress websites across a wide range of industries and niches after completion of undergraduate degree. Proven experience with custom WordPress theme and plugin development. Familiarity with digital marketing practices, including SEO, conversion tracking, and analytics. Proficiency in version control systems (e.g., Git). Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Strong communication skills and the ability to work independently. Desired Competencies : Experience with Shopify and version control for Shopify projects. Knowledge of web performance optimization techniques and tools.
