Job description

We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Junior Software Quality Assurance (SQA) Engineer with approximately 1 year of experience. The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of software testing principles, hands‑on experience in manual testing , and basic familiarity with automation tools like Selenium and Postman . Key Responsibilities :

Execute manual test cases and document test results
Participate in requirements analysis and review sessions
Identify, log, and track bugs using tools like JIRA
Collaborate with developers and product managers to resolve issues
Conduct regression, integration, and system testing
Assist in creating and maintaining test documentation (test cases, test plans)
Perform basic API testing using Postman
Run and maintain simple automation scripts (preferably in Selenium)

Required Qualifications :

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field

~1 year of experience in a QA / testing role

Strong knowledge of software testing fundamentals

Hands‑on experience in manual testing

Familiarity with JIRA, Postman, and Selenium

Preferred Skills :

Understanding of SDLC and Agile methodologies

Basic SQL knowledge for data validation

Soft Skills :

Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities

Good written and verbal communication

Ability to work both independently and in a team

Attention to detail and time management of teams.
