Pak Alliance for Maths and Science (PAMS) is a non‑profit organization that aims to inspire a love for learning and develop cognitive and critical thinking abilities in Pakistani children. PAMS provides technical support to the federal and provincial education departments, donor agencies, and its partners on implementing scalable STEAM solutions in Pakistani government schools, and conducts research on education policy.
Our flagship programs are STEAM Pakistan and the development and implementation of maths remediation classes in schools. This short‑term role is a 3‑month contractual position.
Scope of Work The incumbent will report to the Lead, Programs and Policy, Pak Alliance for Maths and Science, and will work closely with Lead, Impact and Senior Associate Research. The objective of this position is to provide program coordination and lead technical support to selected schools in KP. A

candidate is preferred as this role requires regular interaction with government girls’ schools.
Responsibilities
Complete all student registration of partner schools in the STEAM programme (Month 1 : October)
Conduct in‑person school activities for maths and science in partner schools in respective districts (Month 1 : October)
Support in implementation of baseline and end‑line research products pertaining to Maths Corners in remedial classrooms
Support in district engagements, district competitions, and provincial competition as PAMS coordinator in the district
Provide fortnightly and monthly update reports of activities and engagements in district
Check all assigned activity reports timely
Coordinate regularly with partner schools and support teachers in delivering maths activities
Conduct / supervise at least 2 activities (15 / 30 schools) at level 3 (Month 1 : October)
Conduct / supervise at least 10 activities (15 / 30 schools) at level 5 (Month 2 : November)
Conduct / supervise at least 6 activities (15 / 30 schools) at level 6 (Month 3 : December)
Qualifications Required
A minimum of a four‑year undergraduate degree
At least one year of work experience, preferably related to education in KP (e.g., teaching maths or science subjects in primary / middle schools)
Comfortable with undertaking school visits within districts D I Khan, Battagram, Mansehra, Shangla, or Mansehra in KP; the candidate will be selected for one of the mentioned districts
Strong communication in English, Urdu, and Pashto or Hindko will be given preference
Motivated, proactive, and committed personality
An interest in education sector reform
Deployment
The position will be district‑specific with 10–20% time at the Islamabad office for training and capacity building purposes
One position may be stationed at the Islamabad office; note : no relocation will be provided for this short‑term position
The selected candidate will be offered a contract till December 2025
