We're hiring a BI Engineer to own the BI lifecycle : ingestion, transformation, modeling, visualization. You'll translate business needs into scalable datamodels, deliver intuitive dashboards, and collaborate with engineering / AI teams to accelerate analytics with automation and intelligent insights. Responsibilities : Design and maintain scalable BI systems : data pipelines, models, and interactive dashboards Translate business goals into technical data requirements, KPIs, and measurable metrics Build intuitive, actionable dashboards with reliable, tested metrics and clear data lineage Implement data governance : access control, documentation, version control, and change management Leverage AI for anomaly detection, automated narratives, and intelligent report generation Collaborate on embedded analytics solutions and operational reporting systems Optimize query performance and ensure data quality across all BI deliverables Work with stakeholders to define analytics requirements and deliver data-driven insights Required Skills and Qualifications 6+ years BI experience across multiple industries with proven delivery track record Platform Expertise : Hands-on delivery with one or more BI platforms (Power BI, Tableau, Looker) SQL & Data Modeling : Expert SQL skills; strong data modeling experience (star / snowflake schemas) ETL / ELT Tools : Proficiency with modern data tools (dbt, Airbyte, Airflow, ADF) and orchestration Cloud Warehousing : Experience with cloud data warehouses (BigQuery, Snowflake, Redshift, Synapse) Data Governance : Data governance, access control, security best practices, and compliance AI Integration : Use LLMs / AI to enrich analytics : narratives, anomaly detection, automation Quality Assurance : Build readable insights with clear provenance and data quality guardrails Nice-to-Have Skills Financial Data Experience : Financial / trading data experience (performance analytics, trade reporting) Real-Time Analytics : Near-real-time pipelines and streaming analytics capabilities Programming Skills : Python for analysis / automation; KPI recommendation or alerting systems Embedded Analytics : Embedded analytics or custom frontend integration experience Advanced BI : Self-service analytics, data catalog implementation, or advanced visualization techniques Cloud Platforms : Multi-cloud experience (AWS, Azure, GCP) and modern data stack tools Other Details : Working Mode : Hybrid Location : Lahore, Pakistan Experience : 6 years Work time : Monday - Friday (10 am - 6 pm), Flexible Timings About HR Ways : HR Ways is an Award-winning Technical Recruitment Firm helping software houses and IT Product companies internationally and locally to find IT Talent.
