In this pivotal role, you will leverage your analytical skills to contribute to strategic initiatives, drive business improvements, and foster collaboration across multiple departments. Your insights and expertise will play a critical role in aligning our projects with organizational goals and enhancing our operational efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and facilitate workshops with stakeholders to gather detailed business requirements and identify opportunities for process improvement.
- Define and document business processes, workflows, and system requirements, ensuring they align with business objectives.
- Analyze complex data sets to inform decision-making and validate that solutions meet business needs.
- Develop use cases, user stories, and functional specifications for technical teams to implement.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product development, UX / UI design, and project management, to ensure successful project execution.
- Conduct market research and competitive analysis to support strategic planning and product development.
- Provide ongoing support and guidance to junior analysts and team members, fostering a collaborative and knowledge-sharing environment.
- Monitor project progress, evaluate outcomes, and recommend enhancements as necessary.

Ideal Candidates
5+ years of experience as a Business Analyst, preferably in a technology-oriented environment.Strong knowledge of business analysis methodologies, tools, and best practices.Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and work in a fast-paced setting.Exceptional problem-solving skills with a data-driven approach to decision-making.Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to convey complex information clearly.Experience working with Agile methodologies and familiarity with project management tools (e.g., JIRA, Confluence).A bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, or a related field is preferred.Relevant certifications such as CBAP or PMI-PBA are a plus.Why AHOY?
