Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for an Accountant located in Islamabad. The Accountant will be responsible for preparing and examining financial records, ensuring accuracy and compliance with applicable laws and regulations. Key responsibilities include managing financial transactions, preparing financial and management accounts, maintaining records of assets, liabilities, profits, and losses, and ensuring timely tax filings. The role also involves working with accounting software to streamline processes and support clients with clear, accurate financial insights.

Qualifications

• Strong proficiency in financial accounting, management accounts, and financial statement preparation
• Hands-on experience with QuickBooks, Xero, Sage, and AutoEntry
• Knowledge of UK tax laws, regulations, and compliance management
• Experience with financial transaction management and reconciliations
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational abilities
• Effective communication and teamwork skills
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• Professional certification such as CPA, ACCA, or CA is a plus
• Prior experience in the hospitality industry is advantageous
