Overview
Our client, a global fresh produce distributor, is looking for a SAP FICO Functional Consultant & Business Analyst to act as the liaison between finance business stakeholders and the IT organization to design, configure, and optimize SAP S / 4HANA FICO solutions to drive financial efficiency and reporting accuracy. This is a 6-month contractual position with likelihood of extension. Candidates must be fluent in English and willing to work EST hours. Responsibilities
Analyse, document, and validate complex business requirements from finance and accounting stakeholders. Translate business requirements into detailed functional specifications and effective SAP FICO configurations. Configure, customize, and test SAP FICO modules including General Ledger (GL), Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), Asset Accounting (AA), Cost Center Accounting (CCA), Profit Center Accounting (PCA), and Internal Orders. Lead and support integration efforts with other SAP modules such as SD (Sales & Distribution), MM (Materials Management), and CO-PA (Profitability Analysis). Manage and ensure seamless data flows between SAP FICO and peripheral systems like BPC (Business Planning and Consolidation) and Esker for document automation. Provide expert-level support for troubleshooting, resolving system issues, and conducting root cause analysis. Facilitate end-user training and create comprehensive documentation for system processes and configurations. Collaborate with technical teams to specify requirements for development objects (e.g., reports, interfaces) and perform rigorous functional testing. Qualifications
5+ years of proven experience as an SAP FICO Functional Consultant or Business Analyst in a full life-cycle implementation or support environment. Deep hands-on configuration expertise within the SAP FICO module. Strong demonstrated experience with integration points between FICO and other SAP modules, specifically SD, MM, and CO-PA. Experience with financial consolidation and reporting tools, specifically SAP BPC. Superior analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to translate ambiguous business needs into actionable technical solutions. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to bridge the gap between technical teams and business users. Fluency in English, both written and verbal. Ability to work in EST time zone. Preferred Qualifications
Experience within the Agro-tech, Manufacturing, or Supply chain industries. Knowledge of the Esker platform for automated financial processes. Role Details
