Architectural Drafter / CAD Designer (OR - 00481)

Job Description :

Horizon Tech is seeking a detail-oriented and technicallyskilled Architectural Drafter / CAD Designer tojoin our client's dynamic team. This role is crucial in supporting the structural design and drafting of custom building projects, ensuring safety, comfort, and engineering compliance. The ideal candidate will collaborate closely with engineers to produce accurate designs using AutoCAD, SolidWorks, SketchUp, and other specialized drafting tools.

Requirements :

• A high school diploma, Degree or Certificate in Drafting. Working towards a degree in Engineering is a plus.
• Other training and experience will be considered. Will train for this position.
• Ability to work at a computer for long periods.
• Self-motivated and goal-oriented.
• Mathematical - Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers and decimals. Ability to do complex integrity and design analysis.
• Reasoning - Ability to solve complex problems. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram or schedule form. Ability to apply principles of logical or scientific thinking to a wide range of intellectual and practical problems.
• Language - Ability to read and interpret documents such as work orders, safety rules, shop drawings, operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals.
• Must be able to communicate with others to convey information effectively.
