Overview

We are seeking a talented and proactive Product Lead VAS & Private Cloud to join our dynamic team. In this intermediate-level role, you will be instrumental in bridging traditional network planning with cutting‑edge digital and AI‑driven solutions, contributing directly to our network’s efficiency, reliability, and future‑readiness.

Responsibilities

Plan, design and engineer HLR & VAS network in accordance with annual plan and corporate strategy; manage configuration, project implementation and CAPEX management.
Design, plan, maintain and optimize the HLR, HSS, SMSC, Smart Care / CEM, private cloud (NFVI) and other Value‑Added Services platforms.
Proactively monitor network performance, identify bottlenecks and implement solutions to ensure optimal service delivery and availability for HLR & VAS platforms.
Manage end‑to‑end project lifecycles, ensuring timely delivery of all milestones with risk mitigation, optimal CAPEX / OPEX utilization and resource efficiency.
Manage financial operations, including forecasting, solution finalization, procurement, deployment, capitalization and invoice processing.
Implement cybersecurity policies on network nodes as per security governance guidelines to protect the network.
Plan and execute network configuration changes with minimal disruption; ensure seamless integration and rollout activities.
Identify opportunities to automate routine operational tasks within HLR & VAS through scripting (e.g., Python, Perl) and automation tools.
Assist in deployment, monitoring and basic troubleshooting of AI / Machine Learning models used for predictive maintenance, anomaly detection or traffic optimization within the HLR & VAS domains.
Extract and analyze operational data (using SQL / Oracle or similar tools) to generate insights for performance improvements, capacity planning and digitalization opportunities.
Prepare comprehensive reports on network health, performance and impact of digital initiatives.
Contribute to continuous improvement of operational processes by proposing and implementing digital tools and methodologies.
Maintain accurate and up‑to‑date documentation for network configurations, operational procedures and digital solution implementations.
Collaborate closely with cross‑functional teams including Network Operations, IT, Product Development and Customer Support to ensure seamless service delivery.
Stay abreast of the latest advancements in NFVI Cloud & VAS technologies, digitalization trends, AI / ML applications in telecom and relevant industry best practices.

Qualifications

Experience in VAS & HLR planning with hands‑on experience on SMSC, private cloud (NFVI), SMS firewalls and / or HLR / HSS.

Strong configuration and troubleshooting skills.

Excellent communication and leadership skills to promote the department and technology portfolio with professionalism, maturity and a balanced, holistic view.

In‑depth knowledge of GSM & messaging call flows, IP protocols and signalling, with strong troubleshooting skills.

Practical experience in process automation / simplification, including scripting with Python, Perl or JavaScript.

Proficiency in SQL / Oracle for data extraction and query writing, and familiarity with data visualization tools such as Tableau or Power BI.

Basic knowledge of Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning concepts, particularly their application in network planning (e.g., predictive analytics, anomaly detection).

Familiarity with cloud platforms and virtualization concepts.

Demonstrated drive for results, excellent communication and presentation abilities, and a balanced holistic viewpoint when collaborating.
