Audit Senior (Remote, with Future Relocation Opportunity) As an Audit Senior at ALKAZIM, you will take on a key leadership role in delivering high‑quality remote audit engagements for a diverse portfolio of clients. With strong expertise in International Standards on Auditing (ISAs) and International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRSs), you will ensure compliance, provide actionable insights, and contribute to the development of our audit team. Your ability to thrive in a virtual environment and work effectively with cloud‑based tools is essential for success in this role.

Key Responsibilities

Lead and manage remote audit engagements in accordance with ISAs, ensuring efficient coordination across time zones and teams.

Prepare and review IFRS‑compliant financial statements and deliverables using online collaboration platforms.

Conduct digital risk assessments, substantive testing, and analytical procedures using audit technology tools.

Evaluate internal controls and identify risk areas, offering practical recommendations for improvement.

Supervise, support, and mentor junior auditors remotely, fostering a high‑performance team culture.

Present audit findings and value‑adding insights to clients through virtual meetings and written reports.

Keep up to date with developments in ISAs, IFRSs, and regulatory frameworks relevant to the firm’s client base.

Manage multiple engagements independently, delivering high‑quality outcomes in a remote working environment.

Qualifications and Requirements

Professional certification such as ACCA, CA, CPA, or equivalent.

3–5 years of proven experience in external auditing, preferably with exposure to cross‑border or remote audit engagements.

In‑depth understanding of ISAs and IFRSs.

Proficiency in audit software (e.g., CaseWare Cloud, IDEA, TeamMate, or similar).

Strong organizational, problem‑solving, and remote communication skills.

Self‑discipline, time management, and adaptability to virtual workflows and cloud‑based systems.

Experience with global clients or multicultural teams is an advantage.
