We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Lead Core Engineer to build a fully secure fintech platform. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading the development and implementation of a scalable, secure, and reliable platform, ensuring that it meets the company's requirements and industry standards.

Responsibilities

• Lead the development of a scalable and secure fintech platform extensions from scratch
• Work closely with the product and design teams to define platform requirements and feature
• Maintain & extend (Design and develop) the platform's core architecture, including front-end and back-end systems
• Develop the user interface (UI) in ReactJS PWA and the backend in NestJS with authentication and authorization controls
• Ensure that the platform is fully secure and meets industry standards for security, including data encryption, secure communication protocols, and authentication and authorization controls
• Implement testing frameworks to ensure the quality and reliability of the platform
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure that the platform meets business and regulatory requirements
• Mentor and guide junior engineers and developers on the team
• Making sure the platform is compliant and spearheading the compliance e.g. PCI, PA DSS, ISO etc.
• Planning out projects and being involved in project management decisions
• Implement and maintain DevOps and QA processes to ensure the reliability, scalability, security, and maintainability of our software products
• Develop and maintain continuous integration and continuous deployment pipelines using tools such as Jenkins, CircleCI, or TravisCI
• Monitor and troubleshoot production systems, and respond to incidents in a timely and effective manner
• Ensure that security controls are implemented and maintained, and that compliance requirements are met
• Work with development teams to identify and remediate security vulnerabilities
• Maintain and update infrastructure, such as databases, servers, and storage systems
