Senior Software Test Engineer

Overview The incumbent will be primarily responsible for designing test solutions and testing of applications built upon Enterprise Web Development using Java EE platform.

Must be passionate for quality and has a keen eye for designs and aesthetics.

This role focuses on designing and implementing test solutions for enterprise web applications built on the Java EE platform, emphasizing quality and aesthetics.

Responsibilities

Design test solutions, test APIs, debug high-performance applications, develop testing frameworks, and contribute across all development phases; mentor junior members and oversee technical project aspects.

Job Description – Additional Responsibilities

Experience of testing and debugging high-volume, low-latency, high-performance applications which are highly available

Experience in testing APIs, object-oriented design, agile development (e.g., Scrum)

Experience designing and developing testing frameworks

Experience designing and developing functional and performance tests and test infrastructure

Working experience in automated testing

Ability to train and mentor junior team members

Ability to contribute in all phases of the development lifecycle

Ability to multi-task

Ability to work independently and be self-driven

Contribute to software deployment strategies

Supervising and overseeing the technical aspects of projects when needed

Regularly attending team meetings to discuss projects, brainstorm ideas, and propose solutions
