Job Purpose
To identify, develop, and manage new business opportunities in the workwear and protective clothing segment (industrial uniforms, safety garments, medical and hospitality workwear, etc.), both in domestic and international markets. The role focuses on growing the company’s client base, achieving sales targets, and building long-term relationships with key customers.
Key Responsibilities
Business Development & Sales
- Identify new business opportunities in local and export markets for workwear products.
- Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve revenue and growth targets.
- Conduct market research to analyze trends, competitor activities, and customer needs.
- Prepare and deliver presentations, proposals, and quotations to potential clients.
- Negotiate contracts, pricing, and delivery timelines with clients.
Client Relationship Management
Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with existing and potential customers.Ensure client satisfaction by coordinating effectively between production, design, and supply chain teams.Visit key customers and attend trade fairs / exhibitions to promote products.Product Development Coordination
Work closely with the product development and technical teams to introduce new designs, fabrics, and finishes as per market demand.Provide feedback from customers regarding fabric quality, design, and comfort.Support the sampling and costing process for new workwear programs.Strategic Planning
Develop annual business development plans aligned with company goals.Identify growth areas and new product lines in the industrial, medical, hospitality, and security segments.Monitor and report market dynamics and recommend proactive measures.Reporting & Analysis
Maintain accurate records of client communications, quotations, and orders.Prepare monthly and quarterly reports on sales performance, pipeline, and forecasts.Track KPIs including lead conversion, sales growth, and client retention.Required Qualifications & Experience
Education : Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or Textile Management.Experience : Minimum 5–8 years of experience in business development or export marketing, preferably in workwear, uniforms, or textile / apparel manufacturing.Technical Knowledge
Familiarity with fabric types, garment construction, compliance standards and production processes.
Skills
Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities, strong sales negotiation and presentation skills, understanding of global workwear trends and standards.
