Software Quality Assurance Engineer (CMMI Experience) About Client Company :
A leading software development and maintenance services provider company.
Organizational Relationship :
Coordinates with Project Team Members, Human Resource Function, Infrastructure, and the Administration function.
Reports to Senior Manager EEI.
Main Responsibilities :
Accomplish measurements data collection, analysis, and storage tasks assigned by the Associate Manager.
Participate in compiling the monthly quality trends report.
Participate in the compilation and reporting of data to Project Managers.
Participate in imparting relevant process knowledge, provide training, in-house consultancy, implementation support, theoretical basis, and R&D pointers to help process implementation teams / groups in the adoption and establishment of best practices and proven approaches within the concerned process area.
Develop training material and documents for process implementation and improvement.
Perform R&D on new process improvement methodologies and techniques.
Participate in conducting open talks on various quality-related topics.
Conduct open talks on various quality-related topics to create awareness and appreciation of formal processes within the staff.
Remain involved in theoretical research of Software Process Improvement and software engineering best practices.
Communicate with other stakeholders at appropriate phases of SDLC to ensure effective execution of process implementation & improvement activities that require their participation.
Academic Qualification(s) :
Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Computer Science / Software Engineering or related field.
Technical Skills :
Quick learner with a high IQ.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a detail-oriented approach.
Good understanding of various stages of an SDLC and their relevant outputs.
Knowledge of any process model, e.g., ISO 9001, ISO 27001, or CMMI.
Analytical thinking and decision-making skills.
Familiarity with any process automation and collaboration tools preferred, e.g., MS Project Server, Test Director, MS SharePoint Services, etc.
Good English language, specifically writing / documenting skills.
Working knowledge of SQL Server or any other RDBMS and SQL language.
Working knowledge of automated testing will be a definite plus.
Overall, good communication and presentation skills.

Other Details :
