This includes identifying and resolving system issues, planning and delivering frictionless cloud migrations with minimal downtime, and leveraging AI / ML‑driven workflows to automate significant portions of operational overhead. You'll possess genuine decision‑making power over infrastructure choices—no prolonged waiting for sign‑offs from stakeholders disconnected from the technical reality.

What You Will Be Doing

• Architecting and executing sophisticated infrastructure transformations, including migrations from legacy environments to AWS cloud platforms and lift‑and‑shift migration strategies.
• Creating and deploying comprehensive monitoring strategies and developing automation for monitoring systems, software deployment pipelines, and operational processes.
• Conducting system monitoring, backup operations, incident management, database migrations, database configuration, and cost reduction initiatives.

Working with us

This is a full‑time (40 hours per week), long‑term position. The position is immediately available and requires entering into an independent contractor agreement with Crossover as a Contractor of Record. The compensation level for this role is $50 USD / hour, which equates to $100,000 USD / year assuming 40 hours per week and 50 weeks per year. The payment period is weekly.
