Sr. / Chief Reservoir Simulation Engineering (Petroleum)

Ocean Pakistan Limited an Oil & Gas Exploration and Production Company invites applications from qualified and experienced candidates for the post of Sr. / Chief Reservoir Engineer . Candidates with overseas working experience would be preferred.

Education and Experience Requirement :

B.Sc. Petroleum Engineering, M.Sc. Petroleum Engineering with specialization in reservoir simulation with minimum of 15 years of working experience will be preferred.

Responsibilities :

• QC of the static models
• Perform fluid characterization using an equation-of-state and incorporate in simulation model / s
• Perform special core analysis interpretation and incorporate in simulation model / s
• Build reservoir simulation models (both Black Oil & Compositional) from static models to characterize and describe oil, gas, and gas condensate reservoirs
• History match the model with available historical field data
• Use reservoir simulation models to optimize field development plans (inclusive of compressions for gas fields), reservoir performance and estimate reserves based on different recovery schemes (predictions)
• Closely work with G&G team to ensure good consistency in static reservoir model building
• Closely work with Operation team to plan, execute & monitor DST's, transient tests, PLT, BHP surveys etc.

Capable to utilize petroleum engineering software pertaining to well test analysis, material balance, DCA, production logging, nodal analysis, economic analysis etc.
