Join us if you want the opportunity to do the same. How will you make an impact? We are seeking a highly skilled and proactive Finance Manager to join our growing team in Pakistan. This is a critical leadership role responsible for managing the financial operations, compliance, and reporting for our Pakistan subsidiary, ensuring alignment with local and international standards. Reporting directly to the Group Finance Director at our headquarters in Switzerland, you will collaborate closely with the finance team in our shared service centre in Budapest. You will also be pivotal in supporting Acasus' growth, by maintaining operational excellence.
Tasks and responsibilities Ensure the timely and accurate maintenance of accounting records for the Pakistan subsidiary, including expense management across multiple regions in Pakistan. Prepare and deliver monthly financial reports to the Group Finance Director, providing insights and analyses to support decision making. Ensure compliance with local laws and regulations, including tax, corporate, and financial reporting requirements. Oversee tax accounting and filings, including corporate income tax, sales tax and withholding taxes. Collaborate with external tax advisors to address complex tax issues and ensure adherence to local and international tax laws. Manage intercompany transactions and billings, ensuring compliance with local and international transfer pricing regulations. Prepare annual financial statements in accordance with IFRS and local regulations. Act as the primary contact for external auditors, ensuring statutory audits are completed accurately and on time. Build and maintain relationships with external stakeholders, including auditors, tax authorities, external service providers, and legal firms. Identify opportunities to enhance financial processes, systems, and reporting frameworks to support operational efficiency. Lead and develop a small team of finance professionals, fostering a collaborative and high-performing environment. Work closely with the shared service centre in Budapest to standardise processes and align with group policies. We are looking for Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. CPA, CMA, ACCA, or an equivalent qualification is also strongly preferred. At least eight years of experience in accounting and finance. Experience in multinational companies or consulting firms is highly desirable. Strong knowledge of IFRS and local Pakistan tax regulations. Proven experience with intercompany transactions and transfer pricing. Familiarity with accounting systems and ERP platforms is a plus. Exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. The ability to manage multiple stakeholders and work effectively in a multicultural environment. Someone who is proactive, detail-oriented, and capable of working independently. Fluency in English is required. This role is based in Pakistan, and requires occasional travel within the country and internationally as needed.
