Role Description

Position : Quality Assurance Engineer

Type : Full-time

Working Hours : 9 : 00 AM – 6 : 00 PM, Monday to Friday

Experience : Minimum 1 year of hands-on QA experience

Overview

As a Quality Assurance Engineer at MM CODING LINGO, you will :

  • Execute manual test cases and verify software functionality against requirements
  • Develop detailed, reusable test cases and maintain the test case repository
  • Log, track, and verify defects using industry-standard tools
  • Collaborate with developers, product owners, and other stakeholders to clarify requirements and reproduce issues
  • Participate in daily stand-ups and contribute to sprint planning in an Agile environment
  • Assist in creating test plans, checklists, and QA documentation
  • Mentor junior QA team members on best practices and testing techniques

Qualifications & Skills

  • Education : Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field
  • Experience : At least 2+ years of professional experience in software quality assurance or related role
  • On-site availability in Islamabad, working 9 AM–6 PM

    • Core QA Skills :

  • Manual testing : test execution, exploratory testing, regression testing
  • Test case design and management
  • Defect lifecycle management and bug reporting
  • Test planning and risk analysis
  • Familiarity with QA tools such as JIRA, TestRail, Bugzilla, or similar
  • Basic understanding of automation frameworks (e.g., Selenium WebDriver)
  • Experience with API testing tools (e.g., Postman, SOAP UI)
  • Exposure to version control systems (e.g., Git)
