Overview

Aricrypta is seeking an SQL / Data Warehouse consultant for a full time position in our Islamabad office. The person will participate in tasks related to developing, fixing and updating tasks related to SQL data warehouse on azure environment. As a data warehouse consultant, you will have the opportunity to work with famous clients across EU on variety of projects.

Responsibilities

  • Design and develop data warehouse and related structures
  • Write stores procedures and functions according to customer needs
  • Perform ETL related tasks
  • Use SSIS and Azure data factory for importing data into tables
  • Performance tune queries and stored procedures to keep the database and application optimized
  • Collaborate with other team members and customer to understand the requirement and deliver according to the business needs
  • Create cubes in SSAS when needed
  • Create reports in Power BI if any such need arises

Skills Requirements

  • a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field
  • Minimum three years experience in data warehousing or related field
  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills
  • Fast learner to learn new technologies and tools
  • 2 to 5 years of experience writing and executing all aspects SQL Server including base SQL, Procedures, Functions, Triggers, etc.
  • Knowledge of SQL Tuning, Monitoring, and Performance measurement
  • Ability to read, understand, and alter existing SQL when necessary
  • Solid understanding of Relational Database Theory
  • Excellent verbal and written skills and the ability to thrive in a team environment

    • Nice to have

  • Reporting in Power BI, Qlikview or other related field
  • Experience in SSIS or other ETL tool
  • Experience with cube development
