Senior Data Scientist

Purpose

We are looking for an experienced Senior Data Scientist to join our dynamic team and drive strategic decision-making through advanced data-driven insights. The ideal candidate will have 6+ years of industry experience, a strong foundation in machine learning, statistical analysis, and big data technologies, and excellent English communication skills. You should bring a deep understanding of ML frameworks, model optimization techniques, and the ability to translate complex data into actionable intelligence across a range of real-world use cases. Qualifications, Skills, and Experience

Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Engineering, or a related field (Master’s / Ph.D. preferred). 6+ years of hands-on experience in data science, with a focus on predictive analytics and advanced modeling. Strong proficiency in Python (NumPy, Pandas, Scikit-learn) and SQL for data analysis and model development. Skilled in handling missing data, data cleaning, and feature engineering to enhance model performance. Well-versed in evaluation techniques like cross-validation, AUC, precision, and recall. Excellent English communication skills with solid knowledge of statistical methods and ML algorithms, including regression, decision trees, and time series forecasting. Responsibilities

AI / ML Model Development : Design, build, and deploy AI / ML models using best practices in algorithm selection, tuning, and evaluation to solve real-world problems. End-to-End Projects : Lead full data science workflows, from defining goals and sourcing data to deployment and monitoring, delivering actionable insights. Predictive Modeling : Develop and refine models using decision trees, gradient boosting, and deep learning (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch) to support business strategies. Model Monitoring : Set up pipelines for performance tracking, A / B testing, and ongoing evaluation to ensure reliability and accuracy. Innovation : Stay current with emerging ML techniques and tools, enhancing model performance and contributing to team growth. Cloud & Big Data : Use platforms like AWS, Azure, or GCP for scalable data processing and model deployment. Deep Learning & NLP : Build solutions for unstructured data using frameworks like BERT, SpaCy, and Hugging Face. Visualization : Communicate results effectively using Tableau, Power BI, Matplotlib, and Seaborn. Interpretability : Apply SHAP, LIME, and related tools to ensure model transparency.
