About the client
Our client is running a digital marketing agency specializing in helping small and medium‑size businesses (SMBs) with their digital marketing efforts, in addition to running a Podcast. The agency's main goal is to help SMBs increase their online visibility and reach, and ultimately drive more traffic to their website and convert that traffic into leads and sales. They do this by developing a comprehensive digital marketing plan that considers each client's unique needs and goals. The plan may include a mix of tactics, such as optimizing website content for search engines, running targeted advertising campaigns on social media and other platforms, and creating engaging email marketing campaigns.
In addition, the agency also runs a podcast that showcases business owners and business coaches who live through their mission vision. This allows them to understand the strengths, struggles, and tactics of successful business owners. The agency uses a data‑driven approach to guide its strategy and focus on providing measurable results. The agency is unique in working with business owners, leaders and larger strategic and branding decision makers. They work closely with clients to understand their business and target audience and create a customized digital marketing strategy tailored to their unique needs. The agency tracks performance, provides regular reports to the clients, and adjusts the strategy as needed to ensure that the client is getting the best possible results.
About the role
The Digital Marketing Assistant will play a vital role in supporting the execution of digital marketing campaigns and strategies for a digital agency and a Podcast. The candidate will manage social media accounts, create and schedule posts, engage with followers, and analyze performance. They will be responsible for developing and executing email marketing campaigns, lead generation activities, and nurture series for both the agency and podcast, including segmentation, content creation, testing, and reporting on the results. The role also involves managing PPC campaigns, Adwords, analytics, assisting in content creation across digital channels, supporting the team in all aspects of the creative process, and helping develop client proposals and pitch presentations. The candidate must stay current with the latest marketing trends and technologies, analyze data to provide actionable insights, and possess strong verbal and written communication skills.
