Manager Statutory Reporting

Manager Statutory Reporting Location : Islamabad | Level : L3 | Apply by : October 22nd 2025

Overview Manager Statutory Reporting reports to the Head of External and Statutory Reporting and the Senior Manager External Reporting. The role is responsible for preparing consolidated and standalone financials for Veon HQ entities, managing external audits (excluding the three main holding entities), and coordinating external local advisors to ensure statutory accounts are prepared per local legislation and filed on time.

Key Responsibilities

Prepare statutory accounts for Veon Ltd, Veon Holdings & Veon Amsterdam.

Roll forward Wdesk files, update comparatives, and add disclosures.

Take trial balances, populate numbers, and prepare detailed variance analysis.

Coordinate with R2R and external reporting teams to finalize financial statements.

Manage audits for entities (Switzerland, Malta, Dubai, UK, etc.).

Engage auditors, manage information requests, and ensure audit completion and sign‑off.

Coordinate with legal on resolutions and filing with authorities.

Coordinate with service providers for statutory financials and supervise deadlines.

Perform SOX testing, EPS preparation, disclosure checklist, subsequent events enquiry and litigation report review.

Qualifications

Chartered Accountant (CA), CA finalist, ACCA, CPA, or master’s degree in finance & accounting.

At least 4 years post article ship experience in a complex corporate environment (Big 4 audit practice).

5+ years IFRS financial statements preparation or IFRS FS process management.

IFRS application and Hyperion financial management understanding.

Strong Excel skills and audit coordination experience.

Learning agility, quantitative & financial analysis skills.

Excellent written & verbal communication, presentation, and relationship building.

Self‑motivation, ability to work under tight deadlines and ambiguity.

Team mentality and collaboration across organization.
