Role Summary The
Systems Integration Lead
is responsible for architecting, designing, and overseeing the technical implementation of Revenue Cycle Management (RCM) software solutions into clients’ existing
Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP)
and
Electronic Health Records (EHR)
systems.
This role demands strong technical expertise, project leadership, and the ability to manage complex, secure, and scalable system integrations across diverse regional healthcare environments. The Systems Integration Lead will also supervise the installation and customization of data exchange interfaces, conduct functional testing, train end users, and review the overall solutions architecture to ensure reliability and successful deployment.
Primary Responsibilities I. Integration Architecture & Strategy
The design and documentation of end-to-end integration strategies, mapping business requirements to technical specifications, data flows, and transformation logic.
Evaluate and implement appropriate integration technologies, middleware, and protocols such as REST, SOAP, HL7, FHIR, SFTP, etc.
Ensure integration architectures are secure, scalable, and compliant with healthcare and financial data security regulations.
II. Implementation & Delivery
Serve as the technical lead for implementation activities including configuration, development, testing, and deployment.
Act as the escalation point for complex integration issues and performance bottlenecks during testing and post-deployment.
Standardize and automate integration workflows, testing processes, and deployment procedures to improve efficiency and reduce manual effort.
III. Stakeholder & Team Management
Engage directly with client IT teams (DBAs, IT Directors, Integration Specialists) to understand system requirements and data structures.
Coordinate with internal Product, Engineering, and Project Management teams to communicate progress, risks, and technical challenges.
Mentor and guide junior engineers, establishing best practices and supporting them in resolving complex technical issues.
Job Requirements Education & Experience
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field.
4–5 years of IT experience with a background in application development or technical production support (required).
Technical Skills
Strong integration expertise including APIs (REST, SOAP), message queuing systems, and ETL / ELT data transformation techniques.
Direct experience integrating systems in the
Healthcare
(EHR / EMR, RCM, HL7) or
Financial / FinTech
sector is highly preferred.
Proficiency in SQL (optimization, stored procedures) with experience working on high-volume relational databases such as SQL Server or PostgreSQL.
Solid programming or scripting skills in at least one language : Python, C#, Java.
Experience with automated testing frameworks for integration pipelines.
Familiarity with DevOps practices and CI / CD pipelines is desirable.
Soft Skills
Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to clearly articulate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
Strong client-facing communication abilities are mandatory due to the nature of the role.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and leadership capabilities.
