The Role

We are looking for 1-2 reliable, motivated web designers to join Zahela on a contract, part-time basis. In this role, you will be responsible for designing and customizing websites for our clients, primarily using WordPress and Shopify platforms. As Zahela grows and business increases, there is potential for the role to transition into a full-time position .

We need designers who are detail-oriented, creative, and able to deliver high-quality work under tight deadlines. You will be part of a dynamic, fast-paced environment and will be expected to take ownership of projects, ensuring that all designs meet our clients’ needs and expectations.

Responsibilities :

  • Create and design websites for clients on WordPress and Shopify platforms
  • Customize themes and templates to fit client branding and functionality requirements
  • Ensure websites are mobile-responsive and optimized for performance
  • Work closely with the team to ensure all projects are completed on time and to a high standard
  • Communicate directly with clients, when necessary, to understand their vision and needs
  • Participate in the development and ongoing improvements of the company’s website offerings

Ideal Profile

What We’re Looking For :

  • Proven experience in web design (WordPress and Shopify)
  • Strong knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
  • Experience with e-commerce integrations and SEO best practices
  • Detail-oriented with a passion for creating visually stunning and user-friendly websites
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate within a team
  • Self-starter with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • A portfolio demonstrating previous web design work is highly desirable

  • You have at least 2 years of experience in web design , ideally within digital marketing , e-commerce , or the IT industry.
  • You have working knowledge of WordPress Design & Development , Shopify Store Setup & Customization , UI / UX Design , and Responsive Web Design .
  • You are proficient in HTML / CSS , JavaScript , and have experience with SEO Best Practices and E-commerce Integration .
  • You are experienced with graphic design tools such as Adobe Photoshop , Figma , or similar design software.
  • You have a strong eye for detail and are committed to delivering work that exceeds expectations.
  • You enjoy finding creative solutions to design challenges and are passionate about creating visually appealing, user-friendly websites.
  • You are adaptable, comfortable with change, and thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • You can effectively collaborate with teams and clients to ensure projects meet all requirements and deadlines.
  • A portfolio showcasing previous web design work is highly preferred.
