Knowledge of software testing concepts, methodologies, and lifecycle. Basic understanding of manual and automated testing approaches. Familiarity with defect tracking tools like JIRA, TestRail, or equivalent. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Good communication and collaboration abilities. Eagerness to learn and grow in the QA domain. Overview
Responsibilities
- Execute test cases to evaluate software functionality, usability, and performance.
- Identify, document, and report defects using appropriate tracking tools.
- Collaborate with developers and product teams to ensure requirements are met.
- Develop and maintain test cases.
- Ensure adherence to quality assurance processes and testing standards.
- Perform basic database testing and validate data integrity.
- Assist in automating test scripts (if applicable) under supervision.
- Continuously learn and improve testing methodologies.
- Perform API testing.
- Any other tasks assigned by the Line Manager / HOD.
