Job Title : Regional Training Coordinator, Pakistan

Contract : Permanent, Full Time

About the Role

As the Regional Training Coordinator, you will be a crucial member of our team. You will take charge of effective planning, promotion, and organisation of Cambridge face‑to‑face and virtual professional development (PD) courses for teachers and school leaders in Pakistan.

We are Cambridge University Press & Assessment, a world‑leading academic publisher and assessment organisation, part of the University of Cambridge. In Pakistan, we have a strong team working across Islamabad, Karachi and Lahore to provide high quality support to schools and teachers.

As our next Regional Training Coordinator, you will manage the annual planning process, coordinate promotional materials, oversee travel logistics, identify suitable venues, contract external consultants, and ensure seamless execution of both face‑to‑face and virtual events. You will play a vital role in delegate bookings, query resolution and post‑event procedures, ensuring a high‑quality experience for all participants.

Additionally, your role involves monitoring costs and income, contributing to process improvement initiatives, and providing support for broader professional development team activities.

Responsibilities

  • PD event management and support
  • Annual planning for PD courses (face‑to‑face and live virtual events)
  • Budget creation and management
  • Inputting to process improvements
  • Providing general support to the Professional Development Team

Qualifications

We are seeking a candidate with a proven track record in event management, particularly in organising professional development courses for educators. Your ability to effectively coordinate logistics, manage budgets and collaborate with stakeholders is crucial. Strong organisational skills, attention to detail and proficiency in using tech tools are highly desirable.

The ideal candidate will demonstrate adaptability in supporting events across different delivery modes, a proactive approach to process improvement, excellent communication skills, and willingness to contribute to team initiatives.
