Job description
  • Actively participate in complete development life cycle of the product.
  • Manage existing projects and work on new products.
  • Translate requirements into good design and develop prototypes for review by customer.
  • Coordinate with other team members and actively participate in group discussions.
  • Responsible for development, testing and debugging.
  • Meet deadlines set by the team lead and achieve project milestones on time.

    Qualifications and Skills

    • Minimum Bachelor’s degree in computer science or similar field from a chartered university.
    • Minimum 2 years of experience in web programming.
    • Proficient in C#, ASP, .Net Framework 3.5 and 4.0, SQL Server, PHP, HTML and LINQ.
    • Good aesthetic sense and graphic designing skills. Proficiency in Photoshop would be counted as meritorious.
    • Should have a strong capacity to work on multiple tasks assigned.

      • Bonus Skills

      The following skills will be regarded as meritorious :

    • Knowledge of GIS and spatial databases.
    • Mobile application development experience on Android or iOS.
    • Hands on experience of difference mapping API’s i.e. Google maps API, Bing maps API, Leaflet etc.

      • Scripting Languages

      Tools

    • MS SQL Server 2008, MS Visual Studio 2008 and above, Photoshop.

      • Source Control

    • SVN, CVS or any source control software.
