Backend Engineer - (Python / Go)

We are seeking a highly ambitious and tech-savvy Social Media Manager to own the social presence for our portfolio of innovative, AI-first products. You will be a key driver of our growth, using a cutting-edge AI tool stack to create content that not only captivates but converts. Your mission is to build a direct line from social media activity to our bottom line.

Responsibilities

Design, implement, and maintain backend services and APIs using Python (Flask) or Golang.

Build scalable, reliable, and high-performance systems for large-scale data processing and transactions.

Apply design patterns and best practices to ensure maintainability, testability, and reusability of code.

Work with relational and non-relational database systems (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB, Redis) for data modeling, optimization, and query performance tuning.

Collaborate with frontend engineers, DevOps, and product managers to deliver end-to-end solutions.

Ensure system security, performance, and availability through monitoring, logging, and troubleshooting.

Participate in code reviews, mentor team members, and contribute to continuous improvement of development practices.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience).

3+ years of professional backend development experience.

Strong proficiency in Python or Golang (knowledge of both is a plus).

Solid understanding of database systems (SQL and NoSQL).

Strong grasp of software engineering principles, design patterns, and system architecture.

Experience with RESTful APIs, gRPC, or GraphQL.

Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure) and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).

Knowledge of CI / CD pipelines, testing frameworks, and monitoring tools.

Excellent problem-solving, communication, and teamwork skills.
